home, sweet home
I'm so glad to be back home! We had a great time in Chicago. The wedding was lovely and I am so excited to have such a wonderful new sister-in-law. Sophie was a excellent flower-girl and she danced the entire night at the reception.
two-in-one jacket sew-along, I think it will be perfect for George. I also found some pretty Anna Maria Horner velveteen on sale. The main reason for the trip to The Needle Shop was to see the Outside Oslo fabric in person. I really love the how about orange blog and have seen such cute things made with her fabric. I ended up buying two prints that think will be perfect for my living room.
Okay, so remember earlier when I casually said that I just happen to visit The Needle Shop. Well, truth be told visiting that store was #1 on my list of things I wanted to do on this trip. I know, I know... here I am in Chicago, one of the greatest cities in the nation and what I really want to do is look at fabric?! My sweet husband drove out of our way and circled the block several times to find parking, just so I could make a quick dash in before they closed. So my question is... are there any sewing/fabric shops that you would love to visit, or have made point of visiting on a vacation?
